Director Biography - Kaylee Tan
Kaylee Tan was born and raised in Singapore before she relocated to Florida to pursue computer animation. She graduated with a BFA from Ringling College of Art and Design in 2023.
Her previous work experience includes interning as a CG Generalist at Hornet, 3D/visdev modeler for Hasbro and Disney Creative Group 3D sculpting workshops, and working as a Junior 3D environment artist at Bandai Namco Studios Singapore. She is also a recipient of the Women in Animation 2022-2023 Scholarship.
As an avid volunteer for Asians in Animation and the Children First non-profit organization, she has created social media illustrations and wrote and illustrated the picture book You Can. YOU CAN! which both addressed underrepresented groups. Her passion is creating enjoyable and heartwarming stories, and she hopes to spread positivity to inspire others through her animations.
