Director Biography - Courtney Deelen
Courtney Deelen is an award winning director, actor and producer from Toronto, Canada. A Norfolk County native with a degree in Musical Theatre Performance who was once a famed Dawson City Gertie Girl and now Co-Founder of DEELEN with TROUBLE, Inc.
Courtney is a proud member of both ACTRA Toronto and the CMPA, who’s on-screen credits include: Good Witch, Suits, Murdoch Mysteries, Becoming Burlesque, Blink Twice, Reign, and 12 Monkeys.
She had the pleasure of co-producing the acclaimed Canadian Film Centre’s Actors Conservatory Showcase in 2018, is a faculty member of St. Clair College’s Music Theatre Performance program, and grant recipient of the Ontario Arts Council.
While not juggling dog-mom duties to her boys Gus and Moose, Courtney is busy developing her first feature film, and 9-episode web-series through her production company, Deelen with Trouble, Inc.
