Director Biography - Shelby Eames
Born in Arizona and raised in Michigan, self-taught female writer/director Shelby Eames has made films that focus on troubled female protagonists traversing archetypal, multi-dimensional themes.
Living in Japan, the UK and France aided in providing various cultural references and atmospheres to her work. To date, she has written and directed two shorts which have won or been selected at numerous festivals. She is currently traveling and developing feature film projects as well as film events.
